Mounting instructions for BERSA UC, HC and Firestorm double stack grips series.

Make sure the pistol is unloaded.

Check if they fit the frame properly. Do it side by side.
Do NOT force the grips while installing them!
All grips were mounted on a frame and the fit was excellent. They do NOT need additional modification. Using more force than required or using wrong mounting technique will lead to crack!

To remove the existing grip please see the manual or ask a trained person.

Let's start installing the grips. Make sure the pistol is unloaded!

1. Align the tang of the grip to the frame.
2. Push/rotate the grip half into place.
Push it to the front and a little upward. It needs bit of pressure.
3. Check if the grip contacts the frame properly.
A hairline gap between the frame and grip is acceptable.

The same goes for the other side.
4. Align the tang of the grip to the frame.

7. If both sides are looking good then mount both grips on the pistol.
8. The bottom of the grips are flushed with the frame.
9. The front edges must follow the frame.
10. Through the hole at the bottom of the grips, push and rotate the grip catch into its lower (grip locked) position. Hold the grips tight with your hand while doing this.
11. Install the screw to keep the two grip halves together.
Do NOT overtight the screw otherwise you will have the nut torn out of the grip! Use screwfix adhesive to avoid overtightening!
12. The grips are on and fixed in place. Please check fuinctionality before using the gun.
